History

Cranton Thomes Day School opened in 1989 as a small family day care run by Katy and Peter Thomes who were ready to take on the early education world full of knowledge, enthusiasm and experience. The Day School started with one classroom and over the last 35 years has grown into a six classroom, full kitchen, art supply area, five age appropriate play yards, 20 plus staff members and years of continued learning and development. 

Katy and Peter Thomes opened Cranton Thomes Day School with the help of Katy’s parents Ann and Norm Cranton and worked to create a welcoming, inclusive and nurturing environment. The Day School has continued to flourish over the years growing and shaping the generations of our future.
